The Military Program includes three main stages:

Nativ Basic Course

Our curriculum will introduce you to a broad range of topics related to the Tanach (Jewish Bible), history, Zionism, faith, and Jewish thought, as well as an introduction to the Jewish calendar and key lifecycle events.

The course includes not only classroom study, but also personal mentoring, weekly tours and trips nationwide, group Shabbats, personal projects, a “roots” evening, community activities, an introduction to traditional Jewish melodies, and much more.

Closed Track

A course that takes place under boarding school conditions at Kiryat Moriah, Jerusalem. Duration: 6 weeks.

Open Track

A daily course (8am to 5pm) without on-base accommodation, for soldiers with eased service conditions. The course is held at “Beit HaHayal” in Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Be’er Sheva. Duration: 8 weeks.

Conversion Seminar

Ready to take the next step?
Graduates of the Nativ Basic Course who want to continue their conversion process are invited to attend two conversion seminars (A and B).

During these seminars, you will complete your studies of the material required for the conversion process, and also participate in activities, trips, and group Shabbats in order to deepen and enhance your personal experience.
Once you have completed the seminars, you will be able to appear before a Military Conversion Court.

We see ourselves as assisting the student, not only through imparting knowledge, but also by providing a supportive, encouraging environment every step of the way.

– Closed Seminar –
Kfar Etzion
Duration of Each Seminar:
3 weeks

– Open Seminar –
Ramat Gan,
Haifa & Be’er Sheva

Duration of Each Seminar:
4 weeks

Military Conversion Court

Once you have completed the conversion seminars, you can appear before a Military Conversion Court. It’s important to know that, from the court’s perspective, the requirements for students in the Military Program are identical to those for students in the Civilian Program. Both the civilian and military courts operate under the State of Israel’s Conversion Authority and are supervised by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

That said, at the Military Conversion Court you will meet not only with the Chief Justice, but also with several rabbis who are part of the Military Rabbinate. This is a very important factor and a big advantage for you, because these rabbis understand the military mindset and the language of soldiers very well.

Like the Civilian Program, the Military Program also includes three meetings with the Conversion Court:

Opening a Conversion File

During Seminar A

Interim Interview

During Seminar B

Final Hearing

(Held approx. 3-4 months after completion of studies.)
